Hillary Rodham Clinton Endorses Haley Stevens For Congress

BIRMINGHAM, Michigan – Today, Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton endorsed Haley Stevens for Congress in Michigan’s 11th District. Her support for Stevens — former chief of staff to President Obama’s Auto Rescue — follows the Detroit Free Press endorsement and is the latest sign that Democrats are coalescing behind Stevens in the run-up to Tuesday’s primary.

“Haley Stevens served as the chief of staff to the Auto Rescue, she helped save 200,000 Michigan jobs, and she knows how to support Michigan’s advanced manufacturing economy, especially through training opportunities,” said Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. “I’ve seen Haley in action, and we can count on her to protect the gains we’ve made with Obamacare — vote for her this Tuesday.”

“Secretary Clinton’s relentless fight for women and working families motivated an entire generation of public servants,” said Haley Stevens. “Her commitment to building an economy that works for everyone inspired me throughout my time working on President Obama’s Auto Rescue and in advanced manufacturing, and I am deeply honored to have her support in my bid for Congress.”
