-July 19 through 8:00 p.m. on August 2, 2022: You MUST register to vote in-person with your local Clerk by showing proof of residency.
You MUST request your absentee ballot form your clerk no later than 5:00pm on July 29th. The form can be mailed or returned in person at the local clerk’s office. You can also go to the local clerk’s office in person.
Absentee Voting
You should be receiving one of these Absentee Ballot applications from your clerk shortly, as Absentee Ballots will be sent out on June 18th. This form can be mailed or returned in person at your local Clerk’s office.
You can request an Absentee Ballot using the form above, in person at your local clerk’s office or using this link.
If you are requesting the Absentee Ballot in person, you can do so until 4:00pm on the day prior to the election.
Your completed Absentee Ballot should be received by your local clerk by 8:00pm on Election Day. You may return your Absentee Ballot by mail or by hand delivering to your local clerk or their official drop box. Team Stevens recommends hand delivering your ballot to avoid any postal delays.
If a voter who has been issued an Absentee Ballot decides to vote at the polls, the Clerk will spoil the Absentee Ballot so the voter can cast a ballot at the polls. If a voter requested an Absentee Ballot but it did not arrive, the voter may do a Provisional Ballot at either the polls or their local clerk’s office.
