Meet Haley Stevens
Haley Stevens was born and raised in Oakland County and has dedicated her career to saving and growing good-paying jobs in Michigan. During the Great Recession, Haley served as chief of staff on the Auto Task Force inside of the U.S. Treasury Department, the team responsible for returning the auto industry to financial stability and saving 211,000 Michigan jobs. Most recently, she led a national workforce development program and created the country’s first online training program for digital manufacturing. Earlier in her career, Haley played a key role in setting up two federal offices critical in creating new Michigan jobs: The Office of Recovery for Automotive Communities and Workers, and the White House Office for Manufacturing Policy.
Listening, inclusivity and collaboration are critical to serving as a successful representative. I am running to bring new alliances together to solve some of our toughest challenges. I believe new leaders will get things done for people and that we need real voices to represent us from the nation’s capital. I believe in the spirit of bipartisanship and have worked across the aisle throughout my career. We must end the extreme partisan gerrymandering that inhibits this kind of collaboration. It is important that we elect leaders who will listen to and advocate for all constituents. I will be a representative who holds regular town halls and has an open door to every resident of Michigan’s 11th District.
